  8. In this document, we've included general information and contact information.
  9. If you note any bugs in the program, or if you have any suggestions for
  10. improvements, please e-mail us and tell us about it. With your help we will
  11. create a great product to relieve the boredom of the "World Wide Wait".

  23. 1. GENERAL INFORMATION
  24. ----------------------
  25. Zing is a patented product created by Zing Network, Inc. Zing provides amazing
  26. content while relieving the frustration of the "World Wide Wait". When you
  27. browse the Web with Zing, you instantly experience visual images, animations,
  28. news and more, while waiting for your Web pages to load. All of this is done
  29. without slowing down your Web browsing. Zing content can also be viewed when you
  30. are not on-line by using the "off-browser" mode.

  35. 2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  36. ----------------------
  37. Zing version 1.05 requires at least the following: 
  38.     1. A Pentium class PC with 16 MB of RAM
  39.     2. Windows 95/98 or Windows NT 4.0
  40.     3. Microsoft IE 3.x/4.x, Netscape Navigator 3.x/4.x or AOL 3/4
  41.     4. Internet connection, either network or dial-up
  42.     5. At least 30 MB of disk space for programs and content
  43.     6. VGA video, 640x480 resolution, 256 colors
  44.  
  45. 3. INSTALL PROCEDURE
  46. --------------------
  47. If you downloaded the program from our Web site, click on the self-extracting
  48. EXE file. The setup program will launch automatically at the conclusion of the
  49. self-extracting process.

  51. If you are installing from a CD, run setup.exe from the CD-ROM drive.
  52.  
  53. Please follow the installation directions. If you follow the default settings,
  54. the necessary files will be installed in a directory called: 
  55.     C:\Program Files\Zing\
  56.  
  57. The program will launch automatically at the conclusion of the setup.

  59. 4. HOW TO RUN ZING
  60. ------------------
  61. Zing is seamlessly integrated into your IE or Netscape browser and it runs
  62. automatically whenever the browser runs.
  63.  
  64. When you close your browser, Zing also goes away.
  65.  
  66. You can launch Zing when you are not browsing from the Windows toolbar
  67. (click on the red chili pepper) or from the Windows start button.

  69. 5. UNINSTALL PROCEDURE
  70. ----------------------
  71. To remove Zing from your computer:
  72.  
  73. a. Click the Start button, point to Programs | Zing, and then click Uninstall.
  74.  
  75. OR
  76.  
  77. a. Click the Start button, point to Settings | Control Panel.
  78. b. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
  79. c. Select "Zing", and then click Add/Remove.
  80.  
  81. NOTE: Uninstall may not be able to delete all files related to Zing. To
  82. completely remove all Zing files, you will need to reboot your machine after
  83. you run uninstall. After reboot, you can delete the directory where Zing was
  84. installed (eg. c:\Program Files\Zing).
