-
Tips and Troubleshooting for Chat

-
-

- If you're unable to get chat started:
-
-

-
Make sure the H/PCs are close enough. Try connecting them very closely, and then
- experiment to see how far away you can be for it to still work.

-
-
Make sure the IR ports on the H/PCs are pointed at each other.

-
-
Some H/PCs can't be connected to a PC and use the IR port at the same time (the Casio A-11 is one of these).
- If you can't get a chat going, make sure the two H/PCs aren't connected to a PC.

-

-
-

- To clear the chat windows:
-
-

-
Select View | Clear Own Window or View | Clear Partner's Window to clear the
- chat windows.

-
-
You can also use the toolbar to clear the chat windows. Use the last two buttons
- on the bar.

-

-
-

- Sometimes the two H/PCs get disconnect without either person manually disconnecting. What's going
- on?
-

-
Each H/PC could disconnect if it's unable to communicate with the other H/PC. This could
- happen if the distance increased between the two H/PCs or if one or both of the IR ports became
- obstructed.

-
-
Your friend may be sick of talking to you and may have disconnected.

-
