  1. You have now installed Band-in-a-Box for Windows 
  2. This has copied the program files to the C:\bb directory.
  3.  
  4. ********************************************************
  5. To finish installation from DOS, you need to 
  6. 1. copy the font 
  7. files PGMUSIC.TTF and PGTEXT.TTF to your Windows System
  8. directory eg.  c:\windows\system
  9. 2. (If you're upgrading a previous version of Band-in-a-Box
  10. and are using virus TSR scanning software (eg VSAFE.SYS from CPAV and DOS 6)
  11. then delete the c:\bb\smartchk.cps or c:\chklist.ms file. Otherwise
  12. you'll get a message about "file size has changed (due to the upgraded
  13. BBW.EXE program being a different size than the old one)
  14. 3.When you run Windows, you'll need to install Band-Box into
  15. your program manager group by :
  16.      - choosing File\New\Program item
  17.      - typing c:\bb\bbw.exe as the program name
  18.      - the Band-in-a-Box icon will then appear and you can
  19.        mouse click on it to start the program !

  22. BBW 6.0 requires a computer with 3mb RAM or more. It will not run
  23. on a 2mb machine (or will run very slowly due to memory constraints).
