IRC, or Internet Relay Chat offers the ability to chat real time with people all over the world. Obviously this could be dangerous for children. Do not let your child meet someone they met on IRC. These chat rooms are not monitored, so anything goes. Make sure your child does not go to meet someone they met in a chat room.
