  4. INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE

  6. Click on any of the program icons  and a description of the selected program will appear in the PROGRAMS DESCRIPTION box along with information on pricing if the program is shareware.

  8. Click the INSTALL button to install any of these programs

  11. CONFIGURING YOUR COMPUTER

  13. AFTER INSTALLING PROGRAMS

  15. Click the button labeled INTERNET CONFIGURATION.  
  16. Choose the closest location and the appropriate phone number.  
  17. If the number you want to dial is not listed, enter it in the box provided and check off the "Use non-listed phone number" checkbox.

  21. EASY INTERNET will display a list of programs it can configure.  To Configure these programs click CONFIGURE

  24. CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET

  26. Close the Easy Internet program by clicking the QUIT button.

  28. Choose APPLE MENU ITEM, then CONTROL PANELS, then PPP
  29. Enter your password, then choose the CONNECT button.  On some new Macintosh computers this control panel might be called "REMOTE ACCESS"

  31. After you connect open and run any of the programs you have installed.

  33. For more help, PPC users may hit the help button.  68k users must click the question mark icon next to the clock on the upper tool bar.
