Transcription: Thucydides, the Greek historian, confirmed Plato's belief as he describes the fate of the famous Sacred Battalion of Thebes, composed entirely of homosexual couples. It needed the combined forces of Philip and Alexander of Macedonia to finally annihilate them. All the 300 members of the battalion died, weapons in hand, covered with glory.
