In eastern Kashmir, there is a cave with a large phallus-shaped stalagmite of ice. Discovered many centuries ago, this phallus in the Amarnatha Cave is popularly believed to be the phallus of the divine Shiva and is venerated as such. Curiously, this phallus of ice never melts.
