Transcription: The first true French feminists were two high-class courtesans, Ninon de Langclau and Marion de L'homme. Ninon was the first to advocate sexual freedom. Together they opened a school for reason devoted to the celebration of Epicureanism. Princes, nobles, prelates, painters, writers, poets, and philosophers were drawn to it.
