- Tapeworm was inspired by Zorlim's game PIZZA WORM... If you don't have any of
- his games, contact him on IRC. He usually offers pworm and arcade volleyball

- Q: Why code such a pointless game?

- A: I figured there should be a few more party games. I had nothing else to
- do, so I started working on tapeworm.

- Q: Why release the game?

- A: When I made tapeworm, it was purely selfish ;) I wanted a game that was
- fairly small (under 50k) with a little strategy, and alot of speed. It
- really has no point, but it's fun to wipe out your friends highscore!

- Q: What makes tapeworm unique?

- A: TURBO PLAY, 3 turning speeds, 360° motion (with accurate response), skill
- levels, personal color choice and more! (nuff said).

- Q: So what's missing?

- A: Currently the game only supports the GUS, there are only a few background
- effects, the graphics are not great (I can't draw), there is no background
- music (mainly cause I like to listen to CD's while I play), and I am not
- all to sure how well two players works. (if you hit the other guy at the
- exact right angle, you can sometimes go through him {grin} too lazy to fix
- it). I will more than likely fix those things up, as soon as I have time.

- Q: What kinda computer does it run on?

- A: The game will run on a 386sx/16, but not very well (you will probably
- have to play in turbo mode), the minimum recommended system is a
- 386sx/33 with a good svga card. Of course having the fastest system
- on the market is obviously going to be the best choice :)

- * The game should run the same speed on any computer faster than, or equal
- to a 386sx/33. This should make things fair for everyone.

- ** I am not sure if the game will run from within windows. It worked fine
- up until I added GUS support ;(... If not, just set it to run in a DOS
- session rather than a window, or from the MSDOS prompt.

- Last note: I just added joystick support, but it might not work that
- well. (do not unplug the joystick during game play {grin}).
