- BATTLE CYCLES
- -------------
-
- OVERVIEW
- --------
-
- The premise of battle cycles is similar to many other "cycles" clones.
- You pilot a cycle that never stops and continuously builds a wall behind it.
- What seperates Battle Cycles is that you have a choice of four cycles each
- with different armor, speed, and weapons capabilities. These capabilities
- greatly expand the number of strategies open to the player and allow you to
- survive crashes with walls, outrun your opponents, and destroy them by
- weapon's fire rather than entrapment.
-
-
- GAME REQUIREMENTS
- -----------------
-
- Battle cycles requires the following:
-
- Windows 95
- DirectX Video Drivers
- Pentium 100Mhz or better processor
- Joystick (Optional)
-
-
- GAMEPLAY
- --------
-
- Currently only 2 player mode is avaialable. In this mode you play another
- human opponent for 5 (best of 3) rounds.
-
- You begin the game with each player choosing a cycle. Pressing either the
- speed or fire buttons will confirm your selection.
-
- According to each cycles' capabilities you have a limited amount of
- armor, speed, or weapons. As you use each, a meter on the right of the screen
- informs you of how much remains.
-
- Once you lose all of your armor your cycle dies. On a collision between
- two cycles, the one with the most armor survives.
-
- During the game you may pick up power-ups that increase one of your three
- capabilities.
-
- There may be one or more turrets spread throughout the game board. These
- turrets are indestructible and fire randomly.
-
- Once all 5 rounds are completed, the game ends and a winner is declared.
-
-
- CONTROLS
- --------
-
- You may use either the keyboard or the joystick and may control your cycle
- using 3 basic controls: a directional control, speed button, and fire button.
