  38. The archive contains the following files:

  45. The directory from which 'chess' is started should contain the files
  46.  'chess.exe' and 'book.cbk'. Upon termination of the program, the file
  47. 'chess.sav' will be created in this directory. This file saves the state of
  48. the program on exit. When the program is restarted, the previous
  49. settings will be restored from this file (Including any game you were
  50. playing).

  52.  IF YOU ARE INSTALLING OVER A PREVIOUS RELEASE OF YCHESS, THEN YOU SHOULD
  53. DELETE THE FILE "CHESS.SAV" CREATED BY THE PREVIOUS RELEASE!

  75. Read this section if you have used YChess1.08

  77.  * The board and piece colours are now adjustable
  78.  * Included command line options. This allows using a smaller hash-table
  79.    when there's little memory left under DOS.
  80.  * Included recapture search extensions. Modified passed pawn search
  81.    extensions. This release should play stronger than the previous one.
  82.  * The animation speed can now be adjusted using a slider
  83.    (not terribly useful).

  89.  -> Corrected an error in the "Draw" Algorithm. YChess1.08 played into
  90.     draws for positions which should have been one.

  92.  -> Corrected an error involving PxPep move generation at the root.

  94.  -> Corrected an error which caused the program to hang when taking back
  95.     moves involving a PxPep capture.
