For example, here are three different views of the same sheet, varying only in layout:</p>

<p class="Paragraph"><help:paragraphinfo state="U" number="10" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/>You can format the sheet with one of the AutoFormats. It requires no further editing on your part.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:paragraphinfo state="U" number="11" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/>Here the example sheet has been formatted with certain cell attributes in the <span class="T1">Format - Cells</span> dialog. In addition the view of the gridlines and sheet headers has been deactivated in <span class="T1">Tools - Options - Spreadsheet - View</span> and a graphics file loaded as background in <span class="T1">Format - Page - Background</span>.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:paragraphinfo state="U" number="22" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/>An image that you load with <span class="T1">Format - Page - Background</span> is only visible in print or in <span class="T1">File - Page View</span>.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:paragraphinfo state="U" number="23" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/>If you want to have a background image displayed on screen as well, insert the graphic image by choosing <span class="T1">Insert - Graphics - From File</span>. Then send the image behind the cells by way of the context menu <span class="T1">Arrangement - To the Background</span>.</p>
