- Corel Linux Boot Floppy How-To -- by Robert Schwartz <roberts@corel.com>
-
- In order to start the Corel Linux installation, you must have either a
- bootable CD-ROM drive or a bootable floppy disk.
-
- To create a bootable floppy disk from the Corel Linux CD-ROM, you can
- use the DOS/Window's version of RAWRITE2. This, of course, requires a
- working Window's or DOS system, a working CD-ROM drive and a floppy
- disk drive.
-
- - Insert the Corel Linux CD into your CD-ROM drive
- - Place a formatted floppy into your A: drive.
- It is not necessary to earse data that may already be on your floppy
- disk. RAWRITE will overwrite ANY data on the disk automatically. So
- be sure the floppy contains no data you want to save!
- - from the CD-ROM's /tools directory, run bootflop.bat
-
- Bootflop.bat will automatically create your boot floppy. You can now use
- this floppy to start your computer and the Corel Linux installation
- program.
