- Remarks:
-
- This package includes a modem and a CAPI 2.0-client for Windows NT.
-
- For now, there is the following restriction:
-
- - The modemclient supports only one port (e.g. COM3) per client-PC
-
- Installation
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
- You should already have a modemserver Stomper 3.41 (or CAPI 2.0 server)
- running in your network.

- - Logon to Windows NT as administrator (or with equivalent rights)
-
- - Unpack the files of this package into any directory
-
- - Copy all files with extensions .SYS and .DLL and the file STLNKSVC.EXE
- to your Windows NT SYSTEM32-directory
-
- - if you have a valid registration key for stomper, run stwinreg.exe and
- enter your key
-
- - Run STCONFIG.EXE
-
- - Choose your network protocol
-
- - Add the clients you wish to use to the left list (choose from the right)
-
- - Exit STCONFIG. STCONFIG will now try to load the drivers.
- The Stomper client(s) should be up and running immediately (no restart
- required).
-
- - if you run your modemserver on a Netware Fileserver, copy the file
- STOMPER.NLM to your Netware's SYSTEM-Directory and restart STOMPER.NLM
-
- To uninstall, just run STCONFIG and remove the ports again.

- This software was tested under Win NT 4.0 and the following software:

- - ZOC 3.07 (Analogue and CAPI 2.0)
- - Fritz!-2.0 - all components
- - T-Online Decoder
- - Telix for Windows 1.10
- - Hyperterminal
- - Terminal.EXE from Win NT 3.51 (under NT 4.0)
- - CFOS/NT with RAS/Internet
- - AVM-CapiPort/NT
