  3. MidiPlus 1.55 is the next version of MidiPlus 1.54.
  4. What's new in Version 1.55?
  5. * MidiPlus logo background changed because wasn't displayed well in some 
  6.   screen colors configurations.
  7. What's new in Version 1.54?
  8. * If you select from songs list the same file that is opened MidiPlus doesn't
  9.   open it again.
  10. * Now you can specify to MidiPlus which paths to save.
  11. * Now you can specify how many songs or lists will drop down when you click
  12.   the song's or list's list box.
  13. * Play lists window can be resized making play lists editing easier.
  14. * MidiPlus now has a new logo.
  15. * A splash screen was added to MidiPlus.
  16. * MidiPlus now is created using Delphi 3 instead of Delphi 2. Delphi is a
  17.   powerful tool from Borland for creating applications as reliable and fast
  18.   as C++ applications.

  55. Some of MidiPlus other features are:
  56.  * CD-player-like interface
  57.  * No repeat, repeat once, and continuous repeat functions
  58.  * Two Modes: Open and List Mode.  In Open mode, it works like the
  59.    Windows Media Player, opening and playing one file at a time. In
  60.    List mode, you put together lists of multiple MIDI files to play
  61.    back-to-back, creating as many lists as you want.
  62.  * The program can be minimized on the system tray and can be easily
  63.    made your default MIDI player
  64.  * MIDI, WAV and AVI files support in the same list.
  65.  * Random play.
  66.  * You can use a Toolbar for controlling MidiPlus.
  67.  * Volume Control support.

  70. MidiPlus runs in all computers that are running windows95 or windows NT4.
  71. However a 486DX2 with 16MB RAM is recommended as the minimum.

  73.  MidiPlus is FREEWARE. You can give it to your friends and to anyone you
  74. want without limitation.
  75. Note: You aren't allowed to make changes to MidiPlus files and...
  76. MidiPlus can be distributed in any medium (CD-ROM, Floppy Disks, BBS,
  77. Internet etc.) as long the user DOES NOT PAY ANYTHING FOR MidiPlus. The user
  78. should only pay a reasonable fee for the cost of the medium and other
  79. expenses distributing the medium.

  82. To install MidiPlus run the mp155set.exe in the zip file.
  83. (I you are using Midi Pentagram before you uninstall it, install and run
  84. MidiPlus first, in order MidiPlus use the play lists and settings you had in
  85. Midi Pentagram)
  86. NOTE:
  87. TO UPGRADE MidiPlus 1.xx to 1.55 simply run the setup program, you DON'T
  88. HAVE TO REMOVE ANYTHING.

  90. NOTE:
  91. When you uninstall MidiPlus, play lists are deleted.
  92.  
  93. If you have obtained MidiPlus without the setup program to upgrade for an
  94. older version just copy the new files into MidiPlus directory.
  95. If you have obtained MidiPlus for the first time create a directory and
  96. place MidiPlus file there and if you want, you can create shortcuts for
  97. MidiPlus files (Like MidiPlus.exe, midiplus.hlp and readme.txt) by selecting
  98. "Start"->"Taskbar"->"Start Menu Programs"->" Add..." (Or "Advanced" if you
  99. are an experienced user) and follow the instructions to create shortcuts for
  100. MidiPlus in the Start menu.

  108. 32MB RAM, 486 WITH 16MB RAM AND OTHER INFORMATION YOU THING IS USEFULL.
