  40.     <p class="P2">Call the command <span class="T1">Data - DataPilot - Start...</span>. The dialog <span class="T1">Select Source</span> appears. Select the option <span class="T1">Current selection</span> and confirm with <span class="T1">OK</span>. The row and column headings of the table will be shown as fields in the <span class="T1">DataPilot</span> dialog, which can then be positioned as required in the layout areas "Column", "Row" and "Data".</p>

  43.     <p class="P2">Drag the required fields into one of the three areas. When dragging into the <span class="T1">Row</span> area, the icon for the row heading will appear on the mouse pointer, into the <span class="T1">Column</span> area the icon for the column heading will appear above the mouse pointer. Release the mouse pointer above the area where the icon is to be placed. The field will be dropped accordingly.</p>

  50.   <p class="Paragraph">If the field is dropped in the <span class="T1">Data</span> area it will be given a caption which not only shows the name but also the formula which will be used in the data range to create the data.</p>

  57.   <p class="Paragraph">The order of the buttons can be changed at any time by simply moving them to a different position in the area with the mouse.</p>
  58.   <p class="Paragraph">Replace a field by moving it with the mouse from the area to the other fields.</p>
  59.   <p class="Paragraph">If you double-click one of the fields in the <span class="T1">Row</span> or <span class="T1">Column</span> area, you will see the <help:link Id="66783" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Data field</help:link> dialog. Here you can select if and to what extent SOT Office will calculate and display subtotals.</p>
  60.   <p class="Paragraph">Exit the DataPilot by pressing <span class="T1">OK</span>. A <span class="T1">Filter</span> button will now be inserted into the table - the default position is under the selected area, two lines further down the DataPilot table is inserted. It has a bold outline.</p>
