  23. <p class="Paragraph">To create an interesting background for your slides, click on
  24. <span class="T1">Format>Page</span> from the menu bar.  In the windows that appears, 
  25. select the "Background" tab.  Here can choose to fill the background of
  26. your slide with: <ul class="L1">

  28. <p class="Paragraph"> Color. A single block color.
  29. </p></li>

  31. <p class="Paragraph"> Gradient.  A combination of two colors.
  32. </p></li>

  34. <p class="Paragraph"> Hatching.  Simple geometric patters.

  37. <p class="Paragraph"> Bitmaps.  Photo-realistic effects such as gravel, flowers, bricks etc.

  41. <p class="Paragraph">Select the background you want and click <span class="T1">Ok</span>.  SOT Office Impress will ask whether you want to
  42. apply your chosen background to be applied to all the slides in your presentation, or just the
  43. current slide.
