  1. Embossing is easy!
  2.  
  3. STEP 1)   Create backdrop 33% gray.
  4.  
  5. STEP 2)   Create object for embossing the same colour.
  6.  
  7. STEP 3)   Make two clones of the object. One black and one white.
  8.  
  9. STEP 4)   Place black object on backdrop. The white object gets 
  10. placed two units (usually pixels) to the left and two units 
  11. up. The gray object gets placed on top of and centered between 
  12. the other two.
  13.  
  14. Substitute black for white to get the reverse affect.
  15.  
  16. Experiment with other shades and colours.
  17.  
  18. Use StarTeck's genie called "EmbossEngrave" to do this 
  19. automatically for you (it also let's you experiment with colors).
