  20.  What Is It ?

  23.  FujSetup V1.0 is a programm with which you can setup your
  24.  FUJITSU DL1100 Colour Printer.
  25.  If there are more then 10 requests for a version for the Fujitsu
  26.  DL1100 Black/White Printer then I will provide one.
  27.  Look for the address at the bottom of this file.
  28.  
  29.  Originally you can setup your FUJITSU DL1100 Colour Printer
  30.  by turning the printer on while holding down the ONLINE
  31.  button.
  32.  This will force the printer to go into the setup mode where
  33.  you can make all setups one at a time.
  34.  This uses paper and a lot of time
  35.  
  36.  With this programm you can make all the setups by clicking the
  37.  appropriate cycle-gadgets until your choice is shown.
  38.  You can then send these settings in one go to your printer
  39.  without using any paper.(The printer must be ONLINE).
  40.  In addition you can save your settings for later use.

  42.  IF YOU CAN OPEN A SCREEN AS BIG OR BIGGER THAN 640 X 200 THEN YOU
  43.  SHOULD USE THE 'fujsetup_640x400' EXECUTABLE FILE.

  66.  In fact, to run this programm you will only need the executable file but if
  67.  you plan to distribute this programm you must distribute all files !!

  71.  Usage:

  74.  WORKBENCH: Just Double-click the programm's icon.
  75.  
  76.  CLI:       just type the programm's name.

  79.  On start the programm will look for a file called S:FujSetup.settings.
  80.  
  81.  This file will be created as soon as you use 'SAVE & END' from the
  82.  Printer-menu.

  84.  The purpose of this file is to let the programm know what setups are
  85.  in the printer at the time of startup.
  86.  That is if you choose 'SAVE & END' from the Printer-menu the settings
  87.  will be saved to your printer so that when you turn the printer off and
  88.  on again the settings will still be valid.
  89.  These same settings will be saved to the file S:FujSetup.settings so the
  90.  next time you start the programm it will have the same settings as your
  91.  printer has.
  92.  THIS MEANS THAT if you use this programm for the FIRST TIME the programm
  93.  does NOT know what settings there are in the printer.
  94.  So I recommend that you use the 'List' function in the 'Printer' menu to
  95.  let the printer tell you what settings he carries with him.

  101.  TROUBLESHOOTING:
  102.  ----------------

  104. -If you select a function from the printer menu your printer must be online !
  105. -If the printer makes a couple of biep sounds than something went wrong and
  106.  you have t try again. If after a couple of tries still it doesn't get any
  107.  better than you could consider contacting me (preferably by email) and
  108.  telling me all about it so I can take appropiate action.
  109.  It's probably best if you send along the settings file (#?.fuj) or just
  110.  type your settings so I know where to look.
