  55. A: The Walker is a new Amiga model, presented on the CeBit show.
  56.    This is the '1200+' or '1300'. The Walker is only the working
  57.    titles, it may change.

  107. Q: What marketing will AT do for the Amiga?

  109. A: A big campaign in McDonald's restaurants in Germany has been rumoured.
  110.    Hopefully they'll do more than that!

  116. A: The Walker will come in September, a PPC Upgrade for A4000 at the end 
  117.    of this year, a whole new PPC-machine in spring next year.

  122.    and the new PPC Amiga?

  124. A: There will probably not be much difference between a Walker with a 
  125.    PPC and a PPC Amiga.

  132. A: The new Amigas will use standard-chips, but the walker still has AGA.

  138. A: The case: Some german professor, a well known designer. The new board 
  139.    was designed here in Germany, too.

  143. Q: What about PPC for my Amiga 3000?

  145. A: We`ll see, the cpu-slot is enarly exactly the same as in A4000.

  152. A: Neither, it`s something new, you`ll be able to plug in Daughterboards 
  153.    with Zorro, PCI, PPC, 060er and so on, it`s up to 3rd party developers...

  159. A: It's just a minor update. Bugfixes, and support for the new things in
  160.    the walker.

  172. A: Depends on the prizes in half a year.

  178. A: Not decided yet, however Heinz Wretsel, central to Project Walker said 
  179.    that he didn'texpect it would have less than 2MB of Chip. It's 
  180.    difficult to buy less and it's not much cheaper.

  193.    in Bensheim.

  222. Q: What's EPP?
  223.  
  224. A: The Enhanced Parallel Port protocol was originally developed by Intel, 
  225.    Xircom and Zenith Data Systems, as ameans to provide a high performance 
  226.    parallel port link that would still be compatible with the standard 
  227.    parallelport. This protocol capability was implemented by Intel in the 
  228.    386SL chipset (82360 I/O chip). This was prior tothe establishment of 
  229.    the IEEE 1284 committee and the associated standards work.

  235. A: PowerPC, a processor. These are quite different (and faster) than the
  236.    680x0 series.
