- Please Note:
-
- In this drawer are 800 plus Compugraphic fonts. These fonts can be used
- with many programs including Wordworth, Final Writer, ProPage, PageSetter
- PageStream and many others.
-
- Included are the atc files for PageSetter II users.
-
- Do remember that these are PD fonts and as such some will not work with
- some programs but will work with others. Whatever causes them to fail can
- be addressed in a program like TypeSmith which was given away with
- Amiga Format (August Issue) and Aminet (number 10).
-
- It is also worth remembering that of the two main outline formats, the
- Compugraphic one is liable to give more problems during printing and
- screen display. Saying that, I have used ProPage for six years and
- although in that time I have found a number of problem fonts, in
- the main most have worked.
-
- I now concentrate on using a mixture of PD decorative fonts and
- commercial serious ones for body text and alike.
-
- Installation:
- To install these fonts, use a file manager to copy them to where ever
- you want them. ProPage users will find a good selection of these have
- already been installed ready to use with ProPage. The fonts in these
- directories should be used if your CGfonts is on your hard drive.
-
- By using the book EMC.INFO (only available from LH Publishing), you can
- find the font you want and use your file manager or the one on
- the CD, to copy the fonts into CGFonts before using CG_Update.
-
-
- With programs like PageStream, Final Writer, Wordworth and others, the
- fonts can be left on disk where they are and utilised from there.
