  8. Smudge was born in California in 1972, much to the dismay 
  9. of her older brother.  She currently lives in Valencia
  10. as she attends her last year of school at the California
  11. Institute of the Arts, and hopes to graduate with a 
  12. certificate in Character Animation.  She hopes to have a 
  13. comic out soon -- CORUS, from MU Press, is due out in 
  14. February of 1997.  Future projects include an animation 
  15. short entitled STOLEN CHILD, based on the Heather 
  16. Alexander Yeates song by the same name.
