  4. BE SURE TO UN-INSTALL ALL PREVIOUS RELEASES OF
  5. DBISAM *BEFORE* INSTALLING THIS RELEASE.

  9. This release contains an update (from the 1.03 release)
  10. to the locking protocols used within DBISAM and internal
  11. changes to the index format to fix a problem with deleted
  12. records showing up in filtered record counts.  These
  13. locking changes require that the internal version number
  14. of the database system be incremented so that two different
  15. versions of DBISAM (with incompatible locking protocols)
  16. are not used in a multi-user application at the same time.

  18. You may download the CNVT103.ZIP file from our web site
  19. at www.elevatesoft.com in order to convert any 1.03
  20. data files to the new 1.04 or 1.05 format.  Please note
  21. that this conversion only works with release 1.02 or 1.03
  22. data files.
