BORDER-Rnd 1: With right side facing, attach CA in any dc. Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), skip first dc, work dc evenly around, working corner group in each of 4 corners as before; join with a sl st to top of ch-3. Fasten off.
Rnd 2: With right side facing, attach CB in any dc. Ch 1, sc in each dc around, working 3 sc in each corner sp; join with a sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
Rnd 3: With right side facing, attach CC in any sc. Ch 1, sc in each sc around, working 3 sc in center sc of each corner; join with a sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
Rnds 4-7: Rep Rnd 3 with CD, CE, CF and CG. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
TIP: Afghans get a lot of use so be sure to weave in ends even if you have worked over them as you began a new color-especially in the more open areas of the work. And weaving in ends as you finish each square helps to keep this task from becoming a chore.
