I have received many questions about the "undefined dynalink" message received when trying to run Myst. I though that I might save everyone some time by uploading some info about this message.
Myst uses the Apple MacIntosh video driver QuickTime which has been ported to Windows and is now in its second version. Myst, as part of its setup routine, installs the old version (1.1) of QuickTime in its directory. If you have a different version of QT already on your machine (like the current one) then you will get the "undefined dynalink" message. You must delete the QT files in the Myst directory to get going.
If I were you I would try ascertain which version of Myst you already have on your system and if necessary delete it and install the newest. To find the newest QT files do a "FIND QUICKTIME" and go to the QUICKTIME 2.0 DOWNLOAD AREA.
To delete the QuickTime files in the Myst directory, go to that directory, and delete QT*.DLL and *.QTC. It also likes 640x480 at 256 colors. If you have a different version of QT other than 2.0 left on your system then you might want to delete its files also (perhaps in the windows/system directory) before installing 2.0.
