- Troubleshooting
- ----------------------------------------------------
- HEADER/BINARY VERSION CONFLICT
- If this error appears at any time during play,
- your SpecOps installation has a mixture of old
- and new files.
-
- Go to your SpecOps directory and check the
- dates for the following files:
-
- level1.zsb
- level2.zsb
- level3.zsb
- level4.zsb
- level5.zsb
- startup.zsb
- endMission.zsb
- spec3DFX.exe
- specRW.exe
-
- All should have the same dates. If any are dated
- differently, it pre-dates the current patch.
- Hand-delete these 9 files from your
- SpecOps folder and re-install the patch. After
- patching, verify that all 9 files have been
- copied into the SpecOps folder and have similar
- dates.
-
- If the error persists, email markk@zombie.com
- (two k's in the address).
