  17. If the game does not have all of the below items, it will not run.

  19. Pentium 200Mhz CPU.
  20. 64MB Ram.
  21. Joystick (Highly Recommended).
  22. Soundcard that supports DirectSound. (3D soundcard Highly Recommended).
  23. 3D Graphics Accelerator that supports Direct 3D.

  38. INSTALLATION
  39. ============================================================================

  41. Run CKDEMO.EXE and select a folder where the setup files can be
  42. extracted to.  Note, when the Confirmed Kill Demo is installed,
  43. you can delete these files.
  44.  
  45. Setup.exe will launch and run the Confirmed Kill Demo installation program.
  46.  
  47. Updates to this demo will be downloaded to your computer when you successfully
  48. log into the Confirmed Kill area on Mplayer.
  49.  
  50. ck ftp sites.  You can uninstall CK by going to your Control Panel
  51. and selecting Add/Remove programs and clicking on CK.  If this does
  52. not work, manually delete the folder.  I only use the registry for
  53. Installshield so it knows where CK was installed.  CK does not
  54. use the Registry and therefore, advanced users should be able
  55. to delete any lingering reference in add/remove programs.

  57. Note there is an extremely limited Single Player game but this Demo
  58. is really set up to be used online on Mplayer.

  184. the Confirmed Kill Demo area on Mplayer.

  191. TRIM:  Important since we model torque effects:
  192.  
  193. CONTROL and NUMPAD keys:
  194. CONTROL 1 and 3 trim the rudder/yaw
  195. CONTROL 4 and 6 trim the ailerons/roll
  196. CONTROL 2 and 8 trim the elevators/pitch.
  197.  
  198. There will be an on-screen indicator that will pop-up so you can dial in
  199. the pitch prior to takeoff and re-tune while in-flight.  This feature
  200. does not store settings in the demo.

  202. Chat Text: Hitting X will cycle text messages from 4 lines, several lines,
  203. and OFF.

  205. Aircraft: In the demo, there are two available Pacific Theater aircraft: F4U-1D Corsair
  206. and the A6M-2 Zero.

  208. Game info:  You will fly over a generic island map in a Free for all game:
  209. 20 minutes or 10 air kills.

  211. Bailouts.  SHIFT-J is be the bail-out key. The C key pulls the
  212. ripcord.  There is a 5 second bailout timer.

  217. MPLAYER ACCOUNT HELP

  220. To play the Confirmed Kill Demo on Mplayer, if you have an account,
  221. run the shortcut in the Confirmed Kill Demo start menu: Fly Confirmed
  222. Kill Demo on Mplayer.  You will be taken to the Confirmed Kill area on
  223. Mplayer.  Mplayer will download the necessary software to your computer when
  224. you run the shortcut (or click on Mplaynow.exe in the Confirmed Kill Demo
  225. folder).
