  5. This demo version of SBMD requires DirectX 6 and Media Player to 
  6. be installed on your computer. If you do not have these extensions
  7. you can download them using the search engine from the Microsoft 
  8. website at:

  17. * If after starting the game you get the inventory in the lower
  18. left corner but nothing else, the game may be having problems
  19. with your hardware accelerator. Try using the software renderer
  20. instead.

  22. * Uninstall may leave directories behind after uninstallation.
  23. After uninstalling it should be safe to delete the the Space
  24. Bunnies Must Die directory ("c:\jinx\sbmd demo" by default).
  25. Saved games from the demo version will not work in the retail
  26. version.

  28. * The screen may black out for a few moments while the level
  29. loads, this is normal behavior.  You should still see/hear your 
  30. hard disk being accessed.
  31.  
  32. * ALT-TAB, using a "windows" key on your keyboard, or CTRL-ESC 
  33. will cause Windows to return to the foreground application.  
  34. On certain configurations, this may cause your mouse to lock 
  35. up or disappear.
  36.  
  37. * On certain video cards you may see graphical glitches or dropouts 
  38. in software mode.  In certain video modes you may also experience a 
  39. crash.  If you are experiencing problems make sure that your device 
  40. drivers are current and that you have DirectX 6.0 and the media 
  41. player installed.

  43. * Occasionally on certain video cards, Allison can get caught
  44. outside of the world, if this occurs, press escape and reload
  45. your last saved game.

  52. * S3 ViRGE:  May have texture problems in hardware acceleration,
  53. use software instead.

  55. * Rendition 2100:  Will not run in hardware acceleration, use

  58. * Some video modes listed in game may be unattainable.  Please 
  59. check with your video card and monitor documenation to get correct 
  60. resolution settings.

  67. * SBMD is optimized for Intel processors. On non-Intel based PCs
  68. you may experience longer level load times (3-4 minutes).
