  1. NAME
  2.   License Server
  3.  
  4. PURPOSE
  5.   Each time a user starts Corel WordPerfect,
  6.   a "license" is checked out from the
  7.   License Manager.  In order for your Corel
  8.   WordPerfect installation to comply with
  9.   the License Agreement, the License Manager
  10.   must be running on only one machine that
  11.   is accessed by all Corel WordPerfect users.
  12.   If you install Corel WordPerfect on
  13.   multiple hosts, you must specify the same
  14.   machine as the license server for all
  15.   installations of Corel WordPerfect.

  17.   If you have only one license server and it
  18.   goes down, users cannot start Corel
  19.   WordPerfect until the license server comes
  20.   up.  For this reason, you may want to
  21.   designate more than one license server on
  22.   a large network.  Refer to the License
  23.   Manager topic under WP Management in Corel
  24.   WordPerfect SysAdmin Help for instructions.

  26. STEPS
  27.   If you want to designate the local host as
  28.   the license server, 1  Choose OK to accept
  29.   the default hostname.

  31.   If you have multiple Corel WordPerfect
  32.   installations on your network and you have
  33.   already designated another host as the
  34.   Corel WordPerfect license server,
  35.     1  Move the mouse pointer into the
  36.        Hostname of Corel WordPerfect License
  37.        Server text box.
  38.     2  Type the hostname of the machine that
  39.        is functioning as the Corel
  40.        WordPerfect license server.  Use a
  41.        simple hostname, not a fully
  42.        qualified hostname.
