  7. Use this DOS based utility to edit the \BOOT.INI file on an NTFS partition.
  8.  
  9. This program will run under DOS or Win9x/ME.  It will not run correctly under
  10. Windows NT,2K,XP.

  14. To Install:

  16. 1) Extract EDITBINI.EXE to a directory you'll be able to access from a
  17.    command prompt.

  23. 1) Run the program EDITBINI.EXE.
  24.  
  25. 2) Select the HD with the NTFS partition.
  26.  
  27. 3) Select the NTFS partition.
  28.  
  29. 4) Edit the text (Use F1 for key information)
  30.  
  31. 5) Press F10
  32.  
  33. 6) Choose yes to save the changes (if that's what you want to do).

  44. This program is wrapped using a third party software package.  This third
  45. party software sometimes causes machines with AMI BIOSes (from what has been
  46. observed) to reboot when the program is run.  If you experence this then
  47. please report your machine make/model.  We will forward this information
  48. to the third party so that they can reproduce and fix the problem.
