The Windows menu contains commands for manipulating the windows (Panels) the program uses. The Windows menu contains the following commands:
Cascade -- Cascades the visible panels in typical MS Windows fashion
Tile -- Tiles the visible panels in typical MS Windows fashion, which doesn't work well for MCP control panels
Arrange Icons -- Arranges any iconified panels at the bottom of the Main Panel. This command will also make visible any iconified panels you may have lost by re-sizing the Main Panel.
Arrange Panels -- This command attempts to arrange panels more intelligently than the standard 'Tile' command. The currently visible panels are arranged by type, without overlapping, until the available screen space (of the Main Panel) is filled, then any remaining panels cascade from the upper left corner of the Main Panel.
Hide All Panels -- Hides all visible panels leaving a blank Main Panel
Show All Panels -- Makes all open panels visible
Hidden Panels... -- Pops up the Hidden Panels selection dialog box. This lets you select a hidden panel to make visible. Press 'Cancel' to close the dialog box without making a panel visible
Close All Panels -- Closes all panels, visible or not. This is useful when you want to start with a blank new session, replacing the current session. By default, the MIDI Control Panel opens in the state last saved. You will get a chance to save the current session before panels start closing, if you've changed something. If you answer no you have you will still get a chance to save any changed panels as individual files. See the Load Session and Exit menu items on the File Menu for more info.
If any panels are visible their titles will be listed at the bottom of the Windows menu. The currently active (hilighted) panel will have a checkmark beside it. Click any title to make that panel the active panel. Note that hidden panels do not appear on this list.
