  25. GoldWave is a sound editor, player, recorder, and converter
  26. for Windows 95/NT.  You can use it to make Web page sounds,
  27. answering machine messages, or even record your own CD (when
  28. used with CD writer/software).

  80. 2.0 Installation, Uninstall

  85. Simply create a new "goldwave" folder, such as:
  86.   C:\Program Files\GoldWave
  87. and unzip or copy all files into that folder.  Create a short
  88. cut to the "goldwave.exe" file in the folder.

  90. 2.2) Uninstall
  91.  
  92. Delete the following files from your Windows folder:
  93.     express.eqx
  94.     gwpreset.ini
  95.     goldwave.ini
  96. Delete the GoldWave folder.  Other files are listed in
  97. section 4.0.

  101. 3.0 Important Additional Notes

  104. 3.1) Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.00 or later is required to
  105. run this version.  A Pentium processor is recommended.
  106.  
  107. 3.2) Video display must be configured for 16-bit colour for
  108. best results.

  110. 3.3) For MPEG Layer 3 support (mp3) you must have the Windows
  111. Media modules installed.  Installing the new version of
  112. Media Player will add these modules to your system.
