  1. Installing the shareware version

  4. If you received Graphic Workshop as a ZIP file, do the following
  5. to install it automatically:
  6.  
  7. 1. Create a blank, formatted floppy disk capable of holding at 
  8. least 720 kilobytes of data.
  9. 2. Unpack the contents of the Graphic Workshop ZIP file onto the
  10. floppy disk.
  11. 3. Follow the instructions in the next section. Treat the floopy
  12. disk you have unpacked Graphic Workshop onto as your Graphic 
  13. Workshop master.

  15. Note that the shareware version of Graphic Workshop does not 
  16. include GWSCAP.ZIP or ACCESS.ZIP.

  18. Unpacking these files

  21. The quickest way to install Graphic Workshop on your hard drive is
  22. to log into the floppy drive with your Graphic Workshop master
  23. disk in it and type:

  25.     SETUP ─┘
  26.  
  27. This will run an interactive setup function to unpack your files
  28. and configure the software.
  29.  
  30. Note that this will install the GWSCAP screen capture program on
  31. your hard drive as well. It will not install the accessory disk
  32. contents. These are stored in ACCESS.ZIP on your Graphic Workshop
  33. master disk, and must be unpacked manually, as discussed next, 
  34. if you require them.

  36. Manual unpacking

  38. If you'd like to unpack Graphic Workshop by hand, do the following:

  40. 1. Create a subdirectory on your hard drive to put it in. 
  41. 2. Log into this subdirectory.
  42. 3. Type:

  44.     A:ZIPPER A:GWSDOS ─┘
  45.  
  46. or
  47.  
  48.     B:ZIPPER B:GWSDOS ─┘
  49.  
  50. This will unpack Graphic Workshop.

  52. Note that you can use PKUNZIP to unpack GWSDOS.ZIP as well.

  54. You might also want to unpack GWSCAP.ZIP and ACCESS.ZIP, the Graphic
  55. Workshop screen capture and accessory disk contents respectively.
