  4. Instructions for patching Extreme Pinball for the ThrustMaster
  5. Wizzard Pinball Controllers:

  7. 1.  Do a FULL install of Extreme pinball.
  8.  
  9. 2.  Copy the EXTWIZ.ZIP program to the Extreme directory.
  10.  
  11. 3.  Unzip EXTWIZ.ZIP using pkunzip{drive}:\extreme\extwiz
  12.  
  13. 4.  Run PATCH.BAT which will modify the MAIN.EXE file and save a
  14.     copy of the original MAIN.EXE in MAIN.ORG.
  15.  
  16. 5.  Run Extreme pinball and shake your keyboard all around
  17.     vigorously with the ThrustMaster Wizzard Controllers connected
  18.     to calibrate the controllers.  You can do this as soon as the
  19.     opening screens appear, or from the main menu.

  21. NOTE:  If you should, for some reason, want to return to your
  22.        original Extreme Pinball game without the ThrustMaster
  23.        Wizzard support you can do so by copying the MAIN.EXE
  24.        file created by running PATCH.BAT to a file named MAIN.TMP
  25.        and then copy MAIN.ORG to MAIN.EXE.  Then you can return
  26.        to the file with the ThrustMaster Wizzard support by
  27.        copying MAIN.EXE to MAIN.ORG again and copy MAIN.TMP to
  28.        MAIN.EXE.
