  27. Installation instructions
  28. -------------------------
  29. 1.  These drivers must be installed by a user with Windows 2000 Administrator
  30.     privileges.  Please consult your system administrator or Microsoft
  31.     Windows 2000 User's Manual for more information on Administrator
  32.     privileges.

  34. 2.  Start Microsoft Windows 2000.
  35.  
  36. 3.  From the Start menu, select Settings.
  37.  
  38. 4.  Select Control Panel.
  39.  
  40. 5.  Select Display.
  41.  
  42. 6.  Select the Settings tab.

  44. 7.  Select Advanced.
  45.  
  46. 8.  Select Adapter.
  47.  
  48. 9.  Select Properties.

  50. 10.  Select Driver.

  52. 11.  Select Update Driver.

  54. 12.  Select Next.

  56. 13.  Select Next.

  58. 14.  Verify that "Specify a location" has a check mark next to it.  If it does
  59.      not, click in the box next to "Specify a location" to place a check mark
  60.      in the box.  Select Next.

  62. 15.  Enter the path to the Hercules drivers in the "Copy manufacturer's files
  63.      from:" dialog.  Select OK.
  64.  
  65. 16.  Click in the box next to "Install one of the other drivers" to place a 
  66.      check mark in the box.  Select Next.

  68. 17.  Select the following driver from the list.  "3D Prophet DDR-DVI" is used an
  69.      example; make sure to select your Hercules adapter from the list.
