  5. This  file  contains additional information to supplement  the  manual.
  6. Please  read  through all the sections before you  proceed   with   the
  7. installation.

  17. 1. Driver notes
  18.  
  19.     a) Driver supports Monitor controls, Color adjustments, Virtual Desktop,
  20.        Hardware and OpenGL Tweaks.
  21.  
  22.     b) Driver can be removed using "Add/Remove programs" in Control Panel.

  25. 2. BLASTERCONTROL LIMITATIONS

  27.     BlasterControl only works in 256 colors and above.

  30. 3. KNOWN PROBLEMS
  31.  
  32.     a) Driver will work only on systems with service pack 3 and above.
  33.  
  34.     b) If your system keeps booting only in 16 color mode, try the
  35.        following
  36.  
  37.         i) Ensure that you have the following settings in your "SYSTEM
  38.            BIOS" setup:
  39.  
  40.                 Enable "Assign IRQ to VGA"
  41.     
  42.  
  43. 4. SWITCHING DRIVERS
  44.  
  45.     If  you  intend  to switch from Creative Technology's  drivers  to
  46.     Nvidia's  drivers,  you will be unable to use  the  BlasterControl
  47.     software and Creative SoftMPEG.
  48.      
  49.     Regardless  of which drivers you choose to install,  you must install
  50.     all files from the installation.   Failing to do so may result in the
  51.     Windows not being able to detect your 3D/Graphics Blaster card.  If
  52.     this  occurs,  reboot your system to Windows Safe Mode and reinstall
  53.     the drivers.
