- HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF COMPUSERVE, 5th Edition, by
- Charles Bowen and David Peyton, published by Bantam

- mandatory if you want to learn to confidently navigate
- CompuServe. It is very good. CompuServe contains so much
- information that, if you don't have a comprehensive
- guide, you may become lost online!

- is an excellent book with many hints to expand your
- online database searching. The examples include

- speak to a librarian. Then tell him/her that you want to
- obtain a book through the interlibrary loan program. They
- will then order the book. In a few weeks you will have the
- one you want! You can get almost any book (even out of print
- books) using the wonderful interlibrary loan program.

- excellent guide to online information services and
- bulletin boards.

- BBS CALLERS DIGEST. Published by Callers Digest, Inc.,
- 701 Stokes Road, Medford, NJ 08055. A magazine about
- bulletin board systems.

- COMPUTER SHOPPER. The address is One Park Avenue, 11th
- Floor, New York, NY 10016. This huge magazine has many
- fine articles as well as some of the best prices for
- computer hardware and software. Each issue has a huge
- list of phone numbers (and other relevant information)
- for BBSs around the country. The list of BBSs is current
- and the list is so big that they publish half the
- alphabet one month and the next half the next month.
- Also, Computer Shopper Magazine has a big list of
- Computer Clubs. Furthermore, the Computer Shopper weighs
- more than all the other magazines!
