  4.           If you want to locate local BBSs, your best bet is to ask
  5.           at your neighborhood computer store. Say, "What are some
  6.           of the best local boards in the area?" Another source for
  7.           BBS phone numbers is the Computer Shopper Magazine. Each
  8.           issue of the Computer Shopper Magazine has a huge list of
  9.           phone numbers (and other relevant information) for BBSs
  10.           around the country.  The list of BBSs is current and the
  11.           list is so big that they publish half the alphabet one
  12.           month and the next half the next month. Boardwatch
  13.           Magazine has plenty of good BBS numbers. Once you get
  14.           online to one BBS, they usually list others in the area. 
  15.           
  16.           Many BBSs specialize in certain kinds of information and
  17.           files. Some are known as a "chat board" where people talk
  18.           (type) to one another in real time. Other boards
  19.           specialize in graphics, Windows files, etc.; and almost
  20.           any other topic.

  67.           Administration (SBA) BBS by having your modem dial:
