1) First thing to remember is this quiz is "totally for
FUN and NO actual Prizes & Honours for it".
2) Like KBC there is a lifeline 50-50 for help but can be used only TWICE.
3) While playing you will get some hints of KBC as their is a lifeline just like KBC i.e. 50-50 and also due to unique dialog style and so on. But it is not exactly similar to KBC as the sole aim of the Quiz is 'Challenging the Computer Knowledge'.
First of all run the Setup.exe from KBCM folder(NOT from Support folder inside the KBCM folder) and follow the instructions as usual.
* Steps to be followed for playing are very easy as : -
1) Run the KBCM.exe from 'Start'->Programs -> Run KBC OR from the directory location where you have installed it and on appearing the starting screen you will find a blinking line suggesting that "press any key to start quizzing....." so, press any key to start.
2) Then 1st question will appear on the screen and also a message at the bottom of your screen will be displayed regarding selecting options during play with the help of mouse.
3) Then, ALWAYS REMEMBER TO CLICK THE BUTTON "Click Me to See Options" JUST BELOW THE QUESTION APPEARED TO SEE OPTIONS FOR YOUR KIND CONSIDERATION.
4) As you selects any one Check box all check boxes including which you have selected will become disable & immediately your option's result is displayed at the bottom of your screen.
5) If you have answered the question correctly click on the 'Next' button at the right bottom of your screen to get new question.
6) From the 1st question to 15th question you can use 50-50 lifeline for TWO times by clicking the '50-50' button at top right corner of you screen near 'QUIT' button. You can 'Quit' the Game if not able to answer or not willing to play by Clicking on 'QUIT' button.
7) After answering the 15 questions or clicking 'QUIT' wait for few seconds for displaying Terminating screen and you can return to Windows by pressing any key once Terminating screen appears.
8) To unistall the KBCM (FREEWARE) go to the Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs and select Install/Unistall tab & select KBCM from the list and click the "Add/Remove" button below it.
In the begining it was decided that this quiz will be depend on General Knowledge as this quiz is inspired from KBC but later on I got an idea that why not have a quiz for testing the Computer Knowledge of a person Who is familiar with Computers and Softwares with the blend of KBC then it was decided that it will be based on Computers as its sole aim is 'Challenge your Computer Knowledge'. Accordingly changes was made by me and after some hard work the quiz was developed as per my idea and you will get hint of KBC while playing the game. Hope you will enjoy it!
