The Microsoft Xbox, launched during the Consumer Electronics Show, has a 733 MHz CPU with a 250 MHz custom-designed nVidia graphics processor. It has 64 MB memory with a bandwidth of 6.4 Gbps and comes with a 2.5x DVD and an 8 GB hard disk. It includes support for DVD movie playback and also HDTV movie support with maximum resolution of 1920x1080. Microsoft will soon be launching titles exclusively for Xbox.

Intel Pocket Concert Audio Player
This audio player from Intel comes with 128 MB Flash RAM-that's four hours of digital music-and has a built-in FM tuner. It uses 2 AAA batteries, which last more than 10 hours. The kit includes a car audio adapter and an audio stereo dock, which lets you use the player with your home audio system. It also has support for MP3 and WMA formats. It is programmable and can be used for the future music formats.

No we are not talking about software Internet radio players. This is a specially built hardware Internet radio from Kerbango. All you need is a broadband connection to log on to the Net and listen to any station you like for streaming audio of your favourite songs. The stations are categorised into sections such as news, music and talk, etc. The player, when switched on, connects to the homepage and through a special software called KTS (Kerbango Tuning Service), scans the tuning quality of all the available stations to ensure a good reception. It updates the player automatically if the station is updated.
