Cluster Ball 1.002, brought to you by Daydream Software 2000, combines the elements of a flight stimulation game with racing. The object of the game is for the player to fly around a landscape and collect coloured balls, forming a chain, which he then has to deposit in the goal in the arena in order to collect points. The player can also interrupt other players' ball chains with the help of several items he picks up on his way. The game graphics are pretty good but it is difficult to understand the whole object of the game unless you actually read the manual or visit the online site. Another let down of the game is that the player has to keep flying around a small area of the landscape locations and controlling the plane can also be a real irritation. In multiplayer game settings, the game allows for eight players to play together. The game did not create as much of an impression as would have been expected and the whole object of the game was not very catchy. However, if you like flight simulation games and dislike violence and gore in games then you may want to try it out.
