  19.                           1. GENERAL INFO

  21.    FTPrint - is a program that allows you to print text files under
  22. Windows 95/98/NT/2000 in the printer's text mode. Usually, when printing
  23. text files under Windows, printer operate in graphics mode. For dotmatrix
  24. and inkjet printers text mode printing is faster and more economical than
  25. graphics one.
  26.    SAVE TIME AND MONEY! If your printer is dotmatrix (or inkjet) and
  27. your text doesn't contain complex formatting (source code, documentation,
  28. logs, books, etc), print it with FTPrint.

  45.                       3. INSTALL / UNINSTALL
  46.  
  47.    To install FTPrint unzip all files from the package, run install.exe
  48. and follow the instructions.

  50.    To uninstall FTPrint click "Uninstall FTPrint" from your Start
  51. Menu's FTPrint folder. Or run "ftprint.exe /uninstall" from the folder
  52. where FTPrint is installed.

  55.                     4. COMMAND-LINE PARAMETERS

  57.    Usage:
  58.    ftprint.exe /option1 /option2 ... /optionN file_to_open.ext
  59.  
  60.    The possible options are:
  61.    1) /print
  62.    2) /printall
  63.    3) /auto
  64.    4) /readonly
  65.    5) /quit
  66.    6) /setup=your_setup.cfg
  67.  
  68.    NOTE: This commands are available only in the registered version.

  70.    4.0. You can open file at startup. Use file name as parameter.
  71.    Example: 1) ftprint.exe file.txt
  72.             2) ftprint.exe "C:\My files\file.txt"

  74.    You can associate FTPrint with ".txt" files in your Explorer.

  76.    4.1. You can print using command line too. The "Print..." dialog
  77. appears immediately after running this command.
  78.    Example: ftprint.exe /print "C:\My files\file.txt"

  80.    4.2. When using /printall option, FTPrint will print file as "Print
  81. as 'Copy to prn'"menu command (F9 key).
  82.    Example: ftprint.exe /printall "C:\My files\file.txt"

  84.    4.3. Use /auto option if you don't want any dialogs to appear.
  85. This feature can be recommended for use if your printer loads paper
  86. automatically or when you use perforated paper.
  87.    Example: ftprint.exe /auto /print "C:\My files\file.txt"

  89.    4.4. /readonly turns on read-only mode (the same as "Read-only" button).
  90.    Example: ftprint.exe /readonly "C:\My files\file.txt"

  92.    4.5. When using /quit option, FTPrint will close after printing.
  93.    Example: ftprint.exe /auto /quit /print "C:\My files\file.txt"

  103.    This program is released as shareware.
  104.    You may use this program for 30 days free as a trial. After that
  105. time you are expected to either register this program, or remove it
  106. from your computer.

  110.     starts.
