Congratulations on choosing ABC QuickSilver from Micrografx, a software plug-in for Netscape Navigator versions 2.0 and higher that extends the ABC Graphics Suite, allowing users to place, view and interact with object graphics inside Web pages. ABC QuickSilverÆs new object graphics technology makes creating and viewing dynamic Internet graphics easier and faster.

  13. The ABC QuickSilver plug-in currently supports Netscape Navigator versions 2.0 and higher for Windows 95 and Windows NT. The ABC Graphics Suite is required to edit or create interactive graphics, but is not required to view ABC QuickSilver object graphics inside Web pages.

  21. During installation, you will encounter a message box asking if you want to overwrite the file OLEAUT32.DLL. Click No so the installation routine DOES NOT overwrite this file.

  27. A Navigator 2.01 bug causes a Print Preview command to stop the application from responding.

  29. Some files may cause Netscape Navigator 2.x to stop responding if your system is running in 256-color mode.

  31. If an object is spinning, you cannot jump from a DSF in Netscape Navigator 3.x. To work around this situation, enter an EndSpinObject command in the command string immediately prior to the jump command.

  33. If an object is spinning, you cannot open a menu dialog box in Netscape Navigator 2.x.

  35. You cannot print a Netscape Navigator page containing spinning objects.

  37. A Navigator 2.0 bug prevents the same document from being displayed by two embed commands on the same page. If you try to do this, the second instance of the document is not displayed.

  39. When the user views a Designer file directly (by placing its URL in the browser's URL field), printing does not work.

  41. If you choose to anti-alias an image on a 16-bit display, there is noticeable banding, particularly in gradients.
