IMPORTANT NOTICE - ALL REGISTERED USERS

Calendar+ no longer uses the Braintree MoneyPump system to handle registrations. This is due to Braintree's decision to no longer offer these services.
This now allows us to offer single multi-use licenses which wil allow you to install Calendar+ on each computer you own or use. These are shipped on CD and upgrades from single-use licenses (one computer, one install), the current licensing program are available on our web-site at http://www.jsoftconsulting.com/order.htm.
Upgrades for single-use licenses are still free to registered users. Please follow these steps to receive your new registration code.
1. Install Calendar+ in the same directory the MoneyPump enabled version is already installed in.
2. Start Calendar+ and click on Help|Administration|Computer ID and send the 12 digit code (looks like 123A5623DE00) along with your name, email address, the name of this software, the approximate date you registered Calendar+, and the name of this software to upgrades@jsoftconsulting.com.
3. We will email you back with the correct code to enable your copy of Calendar+.

- holiday templates are now included so that you can easily import national holidays and religious days from over 25 countries. - file locking for journals and category notes was added. If one person on the network has a journal open, it locks the file so that everyone else can only read the file and not make any changes until the original user has closed the journal.

- Calendar+ now ships with the proper sytem .dll that was causing Access Violations in earlier versions.
- ToDo List header now displays number of ToDo Items as well as the number you've done and the number left to do.
- Category Notes and Journal now share the same editor.
- printing of Journal and Category Notes was enhanced to allow setting of page orientation and margins before printing.
- registration .dll was incorporated into the program.
- several third-party components were found to be leaking memory. They were replaced and the size of the program was actually decreased by about 100k.
- the tool bars were the main offenders so large buttons were removed completely (sorry).
- since the main tool bar CANNOT be customized a second tool bar with all the Help and Administration buttons was added. That can be displayed by selecting View|Help Tool Bar.
- right-clicking on any tool bar now brings up a pop-up menu to set the state of the tool bar (raised or flat buttons).
- new Tip of the Day component was included (see above) and the ONE spelling error that was pointed out to me was corrected.
- all graphics are now handled from one internal source, making the drain on system resources much less.
- Calendar+ now uses less than 8% of system resources (on a P100 with 32meg).
- Calendar+ now runs under Win 95/98/NT 4.0.
- Daily Journal had a problem opening under Win98. That was corrected and now opens about 10 times faster with no error.
- alarm sounds that were not playing through those systems which only have a speaker driver now play properly.
- Daily Journal folder was added to the calendar view. This allows one to manage all journals in Calendar+
v1.08.05 - 04/28/98
- appointments due after midnight with alarm sounding today were not sounding alarm at the proper time. Alarms now sound properly.
- appointment times for new appointments were defaulting to 12:00 am. They now default to the last time you set for an appointment.
- for Multi-Users - when there is more than 1 data set being accessed by a single user there is a new main menu item called Calendars which allows you to quickly switch between different sets of Calendar+ data. This is automatically set up when Options|Preferences|DataPath is accessed.
- times were not being properly displayed, when time between appointments in Daily View was anything except every 15 minutes. That was fixed and is now reflected throughout Calendar+.
- right-clicking on the Daily View and selecting print was causing an error. That has been fixed.
- menu was added to the Print Daily View screen.

- appointments, to do items and holidays are now loaded faster. Performance on slow computers is considerably enhanced, but we still recommend a Pentium with at least 16 meg of memory.

- Highlight Appointments was added in Options|Preferences|Daily View. This allows you to determine if you want your appointments highlighted (blocked) and what color you wish to use to do this.
- Appointments in the Daily View can be displayed in 15 minute, 1/2 hour or 1 hour increments.
- navigation keys to the daily view calendars allows for easy navigation backwards and forwards in time.
- for multi-user users there is now an automatic refresh function where your data is automatically updated from 1 to 59 minutes.

- the appointment and to do item display was split up, each now having their own page. Selecting an appointment or to do item displays its notes underneath the respective list.
- all button bars can now be either large or small, with either the IExplorer or the standard Windows look.
- users can now define their data path Options|Preferences|Data Path. This allows you to keep your data on a remote server so it can get backed up every night.
- Backup and Restore were rewritten so that now ALL data in Calendar+ is backed up and restored. As well you can choose your backup path so Calendar+ data can be backed up and restored from a floppy disk.
- Search All feature was added. Type in what you're looking for and Calendar+ will search the appointments, to do items, category notes, holidays, daily journals and any other notes or text you may have entered into Calendar+.
- menus were added to all screens to make it easier to use the keyboard as well as the mouse for navigation.
- it is now possible to user-define most of the background colors and fonts used in Calendar+. These become the default the next time Calendar+ is started.
- birthstones and flowers were added to Day at a Glance.
- in Display All a global select button was added allowing you to select all appointments or to do items for deletion or restoration. As well, using the Shift or Ctrl keys while selecting will allow for multiple selections.
- problems with the printing of appointments and to to items from the main calendar were fixed.
- date was removed from the to do item display. Selecting a to do item now displays the date started on the main status bar and how many days you've been lagging.
- the print calendar was redone. It is now possible to print out appointments and to do items by date ranges and priority.
- moon phases calendar was added. Click on the moon graphic in the upper right hand corner and you will get detailed info on the moon and its phases for midnight on the date showing on the main calendar.
