- (1) Insert SETUP Disk into disk driver then run setup ...

- (2) You can select yourself Folder name. (Default is ZyXEL)
-
- (3) You can select yourself Sub-Dir name. (Default is ZyXEL\Z1S1P)
-
- NOTE:
- If the Sub-directory name already exist, we assumed you have already inst-
- -alled other ZyXEL Corp products. So we recommand you click NO button.
- And we continue to setup procedure and add new drivers to the existed Sub-
- -directory.
- But you may create another new directory name if you click YES button.

- (4) After you installed drivers, to restart windows is recommanded. Otherwise
- you can not use ZyXEL's special function.

- HOW TO UNINSTALL ZyXEL DRIVERS FOR WINDOWS 95
- =============================================
- To uninstall the drivers you should run the unistall ICON in ZYXEL Folder.

- WARNING !!!
- Before you run uninstall program, you MUST put your SETUP disk into disk
- driver.
- Make sure this point, otherwise your machine will crash.

- HOW TO GET INTO PORT SETTING USER INTERFACE
- ===========================================
- To change any setting you should follow the steps as this chapter. This
- chapter is a basic concept for any device changeing.

- First of all, you should open CONTROL PANEL, then click SYSTEM to change your
- port settings. Then open DEVICE MANAGER to select PORT and click the COM Port
- you wish to change.

- After you clicked the port, make sure the drivers is correct. If the driver is
- not correct you should change the DRIVER. To change to correct driver you
- should click the CHANGE DRIVER button to change. If the driver is not shown on
- the screen you should check the SHOW ALL DEVICES radiobutton to select the
- correct driver.

- If the driver is correct then you may follow the type of connection steps to
- continue the setting procedure.

- WARNING: If you have chaged the driver, and you want to chage back or change
- to another state again. You should restart your computer, otherwise
- it may cause system crush.

- HOW TO REDIRECT COM PORT TO PARALLEL PORT FOR ZYXEL 2864 SERIES
- ===============================================================

- As you know, ZyXEL 2864 series has two connectors, serial and parallel. If you
- want to connect your modem with your pc's parallel in Windows 95 environment,
- you should concern this chapter.
-
- When you are in PSUI, you may select the port you want to redirect. For
- example you want to redirect the port (current COM Port) to LPT2, you should
- select LPT2(if LPT2 is exist.) If LPT2's resource did not set IRQ then you
- should set the IRQ number for LPT2 correctly. If LPT2 resource has already
- setted the IRQ the IRQ selection would be GRAYED.

- After you select the correct redirect port and IRQ, you have finish the
- settings. You may click OK to finish setting.

- You may use ADD NEW HARDWARE selection in CONTROL PANEL to add one or more
- dummy port and redirect the port to any bi-direction LPT port.

- *NOTE: ZyXEL SP111AT INTERFACE CARD Parallel port also need to use this
- setting.

- HOW TO USE ZYXEL SP111AT INTERFACE CARD AT SERIAL
- =================================================
- ZyXEL SP111AP is a special communication interface card for 2864 series.
-
- If your 1S1P card has set to either normal serial or emulation serial mode
- you may select ZyXEL Serial or Standard port. The differences are the receive
- buffer and the transmit trigger size.
