Some older CD's have trouble reading the tracks for the CD Audio Christmas music. This results in Christmas for Windows playing only part of the tune. In some cases, what is played can be as short as a second or two. If this occurs, there are two files (c4wpla16.exe and c4wcsu16.exe) that are on the Christmas for Windows CD that may help. They are both located in the SUPPORT\WIN31CD directory. To use these files, perform the following:
1) Copy c4wpla16.exe (located on the CD in the SUPPORT\WIN31CD directory) to the C4WREL8 directory.
2) Move the c4wpla.exe that is already in the C4WREL8 directory to a temporary directory and rename c4wpla16.exe to c4wpla.exe.
3) Copy c4wcsu16.exe from the SUPPORT\WIN31CD directory to the C4WREL8\CAROLS directory.
4) Move the c4wcsu.exe that is already there to a temporary directory.
5) Rename c4wcsu16.exe to c4wcsu.exe.
