Transcription: The textures in this shot are varied and evocative. The tight horizontals of the wall contrasted against the almost alive look of the roof are what gives the picture interest. The open window gives shape to the hut, breaking up what might otherwise be a monotonous composition. But notice that the window is not in the center of the frame, or really even the subject of this photograph. Or is it? This is an example of looking beyond the obvious subject and finding a shot that might not be apparent at first glance.
