Wide angles allow you to squeeze more into the frame, especially in situations where you can't move back. To minimize wide angle distortion in these situations, keep the camera as level as possible. This will reduce the curving that occurs at the edges of the frame. With super wide lenses, there is no way to avoid this effect. Instead, use it to your advantage by tilting your camera and creating unusual eye-catching compositions.
