Transcription: Reflections in water can take geometric patterns and jumble them in the most interesting ways. This shot takes two patterns, the gondolas and the windows, and overlays them for spectacular effect. This is an unexpected reward for the photographer who keeps his eyes open and looks at scenes with an open mind. Notice that the bows of the gondolas are neither centered nor fully contained in the frame.
