Transcription: Patterns found in nature can make interesting compositions. Sometimes they're calming and expected, other times they yield a jarring look at a seemingly familiar subject. Look for ways to use light to highlight form in patterns. Here the light shining through the succulents makes them look crisp and juicy. Not exactly one's first thought when thinking of cacti.
